These Boots Were NOT Made For Walkin'
These mittens may look like they are made for trekking in the cold, but 10 minutes outside in the snow and little Zu is whining and whimpering, anxious to get back in the house. If you haven't figured it out by now, dogs are like babies that never grow up; and the smaller they get, the more they need to be treated as so. From ensuring they get plenty of sunlight and exercise to keeping up with their hygiene and general well-being, our canine companions depend on us in the same way that children depend on their parents. Such constant care, though tedious, allows us to also become more actively concerned with our own health and livelihoods as well. This task may prove to be easier if you live in a warmer climate, but not all of us are so fortunate :P! Living in the northeast has its up's and down's, winter having a bit more down's (especially during this 2010/11 season). Recently, there have been huge mounds of snow piling up on top of each other, and with this comes a significant amount of salt that is distributed to help aid the process of melting it.
